Frugal Gourmet Pasta With Clam Sauce

One of my visitors shared this frugal gourmet meal and even broke down what it cost. She says it feeds 6 people but if this is a main dish meal I am thinking maybe 2 or 3. Still a great frugal gourmet dinner for under $10.00.

If you have a special occasion coming up serve this angel hair pasta with clam sauce. Not only will it save you money but it can be put together in less than 30 minutes!

Angel Hair Pasta with Clam Sauce

1 package angel hair pasta($1)
1 small can of mushrooms (50 cents)
1 can white clam sauce ($2.75)
4 ounces white shredded cheese ($1)

Cook 3/4 package pasta according to directions. Drain. Add mushrooms, salt, pepper & garlic powder. Cover with Clam sauce & sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese is melted.

All of this for $5.25, you can even toss a simple salad on the side and add crusty bread for a frugal gourmet meal for around $10.00.
